Real Rain

Description

Changes how Elden Ring draws its rain so it no longer washes out into a white streaks. Raindrops and ground splashes are blended over the scene instead of added on top of it. The drops use a new, more natural-looking texture with varied sizes and increased drop density. Applies to light rain, rain and storms.

The two variants (Install one or the other) :

Real Rain

Just the rain and splash changes.

Real Rain + No Fake Light Casting

The same, plus the SFX part of "No Artificial Player Light" - it removes the light the player character casts onto the world.

Use this one if you run that mod or what that effect.

Installation instructions

Open the variant folder you picked and copy its "sfx" folder into your ModEngine mod folder, so you end up with:

<ModEngine folder>\mod\sfx\sfxbnd_commoneffects.ffxbnd.dcx

Then launch the game through ModEngine as usual.

To uninstall, delete that file.
