NUTShade (NinjaCoconut's Unfathomably Transcendent Reshade)

Elden Ring has stunning visuals, but the atmosphere itself feels... flat? So I fixed it. This Reshade preset enhances depth, vibrancy, and injects Elden Ring with an atmosphere reminiscent of Dark Souls III, the '97 Berserk anime, and dark fantasy without trying to turn Elden Ring into something it's not. Optional DOF included for all you screen archers.

Screenshots are totally vanilla apart from the ReShade Preset (see: Recommended Mods) and with RT off.

As an added bonus, the base game and the DLC now look much more cohesive visually. This was a total fluke, but is nice nonetheless. Installation:

Install as any other reshade preset.

• []Extract the contents of the archive to your game's root folder.

[]Install the current release of ReShade, selecting NUTShade as your preset

[]Start the game, go through ReShade's tutorial if you wish, and enjoy.

  Controls:

Page Up / Page Down = toggles the two DOF options

Home = Open ReShade GUIRecommended Mods:

  • []Remove Chromatic Aberration

  • Remove Vignette

Koodos to TechieW for both of these mods. These effects look fine in vanilla, but any visual editing tends to make these effects VERY apparent (as seen in a few of the screenshots provided).

  Author's Notes:

This ReShade Preset would not exist without inspiration from both Elden ReShade and REVENANT ReShade. Please endorse these mods, and if you dislike any part of my ReShade, you're likely to find solace in one of them.

This is also my first mod, so should it be fubar'd, holler at me and I'll see it eventually.
