Miquellan Binding Blade

 Another foray into learning animstudio, this time a fully-fledged moveset. 2 versions based off Roy and his echo.

This completely overhauls the miquellan knight sword. New chain, strongs, jump attacks, AOW, etc. Speed was carefully tuned, sound effects and SFX chosen to match up with visuals. Moveset is based on the smash ultimate version of Roy, with sprinkles of Marth thrust attacks when I didn't know what else to put there. Tried to make it balanced, your mileage may vary. Roy AOW is kinda dumb if enemies stand in it.

This also affects medium shield ATTACKS, block is unaffected.

Roy version converts the blade to a fire weapon and changes the "Eruption" Ash of war

Chrom version remains a holy weapon and changes the "Vacuum Slice" Ash of war

Moveset Overview:

I'll only touch on significant moves, I recommend watching the video to see the whole moveset.

1-handed - Less flashy but with some fast pokes that hit hard

Back-step attack - Lunging thrust, high damage

Running R2 - Lunging thrust, high damage, high speed

Jumping R2 - Thrust, has SFX

Charged R2 - Thrust, has SFX

Guard Counter - Increased damage, has SFX

2-handed - More maneuverable, has multi-hits and special moves

Chain finisher - Double hit, high damage

Back-step attack - Multi-hit, high damage

Running R2 - Thrust, high damage

Charged R2 - Very slow wind-up, extreme damage, has blast radius. Hurts you when fully charged. Has block frames. Has SFX.

Charged R2 follow-up - Double hit, high damage

Jumping R1- Double hit, high damage

Jumping R2- Double hit, high damage

Ash of War - Unique moves based on final smashes from the game. Different depending on version

Roy version - Medium speed explosion. Leaves extremely damaging fire on the ground. Very high FP cost. Buffs sword. Like ghostflame but way stronger.

Chrom version - Fast forward lunge. High damage, has super armor. Low-ish FP cost. Basically Lions claw but faster with less damage.

There is a readme with all the affected parameters and what I have changed in the docs tab. I didn't cover all the changes to the medium shield attackparam.

Changing a weapons Motion Category to 49 gives it the moveset. I matched all the changes from the miquellan swords special moves to the shield moveset so it was easy to throw on whatever weapon you want. Looks decent on greatswords, all attacks should function normally.
