Map Icons

Enhancements

  • []NEW Added icons for items included in the Tarnished Pack DLC and a new menu entry.[/]

    []Icons for items found in dungeons now use a brown border to distinguish them from overworld loot.[/]

    []Icons for items dropped by bosses that spawn at night now use a blue border.[/]

  • []Unique icons for items from the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.[/]

  • []Missing icons for armaments, armors, talismans, sorceries, incantations, cookbooks, and more, most of which are obtainable from quests, NPC fight events and nomadic merchants.[/]

  • []Hostile NPC icons from NPC fight events (summon signs), Volcano Manor requests, and others.[/]

  • []Items dropped by bosses and hostile NPCs now have separate loot icons that can be displayed by turning on the respective item category.[/]

  • []Unique drop icons and Teardrop Scarabs icons now display the unique icon of the obtainable loot.[/]

  • []Quest items display an additional note providing a brief tip on how to obtain them. Please note that not all quest items are included.[/]

  • []Talismans, Crystal Tears, and Great Runes icons display an accurate short description of the effect they provide.[/]

  • []Bosses and hostile NPCs include a description at the bottom indicating their weaknesses and/or their lower resistance (absorb less) to certain damage types. The first damage type displayed is the Physical Damage (Standard, Strike, Slash, Pierce) while the second is the Element Damage (Magic, Fire, Thunder, Holy).[/]

  • []Cookbook icons display a list of craftable ingredients.[/]

  • []Scrolls and Prayerbooks display learnable sorceries and incantations.[/]

  • []Non-respawning material node icons have a transparent background to identify them from regular loot.[/]

Map Configuration Menu

  • []The menu layout has been revisited and the categories below moved to the main Map Configuration menu:[/]

         - Rune Consumables, Upgrade Materials, Crystal Tears, Talismans

  • []The following loot categories group together items acquirable from regular loot, Teardrop Scarabs, and, where applicable, non-respawning material nodes:[/]

        - Smithing Stones & Somber Smithing Stones

- Ghost Gloveworts & Grave Gloveworts

- Incantations & Sorceries

  • []You can still toggle the loot icons for Teardrop Scarabs separately and by item type.[/]

  • []From the Rune Consumables menu, you can now toggle the display of Rune icons in groups from and higher, and from and lower, including DLC runes.[/]

  • []You can hide icons of non-respawning material nodes (smithing stones, gloveworts, crafting materials) by toggling the Toggle Rare Material Nodes menu option.[/]

  • []The Display Everything and Hide Everything options do not apply to the original icons for Graces, Grace Guides, and Locations, which must be toggled separately.[/]

    Before Use

    • []Icons are not displayed by default. You must toggle the icons via the Map Configuration menu for each category you wish to display or use the Display Everything option. This behavior is the same as the original mod.[/]

    • []Icons of bosses and hostile NPCs always have precedence over the respective drop icons (armaments, armors, talismans, etc.). Turn off boss and NPC icons if you want to display loot icons.[/]

      []If enemies drop multiple item types and you are displaying the respective icon categories on the map, the position of the icons will overlap, and you’ll only see one icon type (with a few exceptions). Precedence on the displayed icon type varies, so be sure to enable only one type of loot category and hide the ot
