Lord's Blade Ciaran Gold and Silver Tracers

Introduction

So Fromsoftware made two incredible weapons as a concept. a curved sword and a dagger. These weapons were MADE for powerstance, but powerstance was not a thing in Dark Souls yet... And they made Powerstance after that... And forgot about these weapons entirely...

Well, i did not!

I used both models from dark souls 1 and ported them to Elden ring, the textures are not optimized yet, so they may feel like a 15 year old game.

Not only that but as i said, these weapons powerstance using the curved sword moveset. Silver Tracer still works as a Dagger when using R1 and R2, however if you powerstance it with Gold Tracer, you can use curved sword moveset, just as it should've been all along.

Well, let's jump to the detaills

Dark Silver Tracer

This weapon is a Dagger, statwise it's like a Keen Miséricorde. It has innate 40 Scarlet Rot Buildup and 140 crit modifier.

This weapon is VERY SPECIAL, it uses dagger moveset when wielded in the right hand, both for R1 and R2, and Curved Sword moveset on L1 when paired with another curved sword.

This way you can use them both, take advantage of the quick dagger moveset and crits, while also having the option to use the powerful multihit curved sword powerstance.

This weapon's Charged Attack (R2) is the unique thrusting attack from Miséricorde, but it also does extra 210 rot buildup, added with the innate buildup for a total of a whopping 250 buildup in a single R2. This is to incorporate it's Dark Souls 1 counterpart, which also had an unique toxin r2.

It can be buffed with magic/grease and it's upgraded using somber stones

Gold Tracer

This weapon is a Curved sword, statwise it's like a Keen Scavenger Curvedsword. It has innate 105 Bleed buildup and 40 Rot buildup. The reason it has such high bleed buildup is because it's intended to use in the left hand, just as Dark Souls 1, and FromSoftware nerfed powerstancing buildup on Elden Ring some time ago. Since Dark Silver Tracer does not have innate bleed, you'll get it from using Gold Tracer

Just like it's Dark Souls 1 counterpart, Gold Tracer has a unique gold VFX that only appears when you're attacking with it.

It has standart parry on it because curved sword's parry are the best and this is still a crit oriented build.

It can be buffed with magic/grease and it's upgraded using somber stones

Where to get them? 

Both are sold by Kalé for a couple hundred runes. you can buy as many as you want.

How to play them?

You should aim for Silver Tracer's R2 until you proc Scarlet Rot on your foe and then proceed to powerstance sprint L1's or jump L1's.

You should also aim for parry because you better git gud.

Once their stance is broken, you'll want to critical using Silver Tracer's high crit modifier. You'll also be able to land one or two bleed procs while powerstancing because of Gold Tracer.

They're designed to be used so you don't have to swap any weapons or twohand any of them.

Compatibility

should be compatible with any mod that changes weapon moveset because Silver Tracer's moveset is encoded. it'll use Vanilla Dagger moveset, no matter what mods you use. I've been using it with Duchess Moveset from Nightreign.

Unfortunately if you want to change the moveset, you'll have to do it manually, since changing dagger's moveset won't change Tracer's. I've done it with Duchess's. Known Issues

Neither of these weapons should be used in 2hand mode. They're designed to be used with each other as powerstance. If you do, you can have some weird issues like Silver Tracer using Curved Sword moveset.

Gold tracer should not be used in the right hand. It has very high bleed buildup for a right hand weapon, so you'll turn into an Weeb if you do, not recommended.

Answering your Questions

"These weapons are too strong" -  No, They're not. They're balanced of from Keen Scavenger's Curvedsword and Keen Miséricorde. at 70 Dex they have more or less the same attack rating as their counterparts, albeit with status buildup for flair. If you're deleting bosses with that, you should play with less buffs, You'll have more fun that way

"These weapons are too weak"  - This is a crit build that happens to have status effect. if you don't know how to play that, use Rivers
