BEFORE BEGINNING, I TRUST YOU ALREADY HAVE AND KNOW HOW TO USE MOD ENGINE 2 UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY USE AN UNPACKED ELDEN RING :|. I WILL NOT PROVIDE HELP WITH ME2 QUESTIONS. EVERYTHING ELSE, ASK AWAY AND I'LL RESPOND WHEN I CAN. :)

I ALSO WANT TO SAY THIS NOW BEFORE COMPLAINERS ENTER THE COMMENTS. I AM AWARE I COULD HAVE JUST MADE A VIDEO AND ATTACHED IT BUT, THE VIDEO WOULD HAVE BEEN 60+ MINUTES WITH SOME YAPPING (NGL). SO IF YOUR NOT A READER, THIS ISN'T FOR YOU. EITHER WAY, I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF THIS AND MAYBE HELP OUT THE OTHER ARMOR REFITTERS AND CREATORS. :)

ALSO THIS BECOMES A VERY FAST PROCESS ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND IT. TRUST ME!

REQUIREMENTS: ALL Models

- KS Solo Body or Base ER Body (Up to You)

- WitchyBND (Used for unpacking and repacking DCX files)

- FLVER Editor (Preferably this one linked but any will do as long as it imports correctly and has an FBX importer)

- UXM Selective Unpack (Needed for specifically the "parts" folder)

- Smithbox (You'll need this for model IDs and also masking flags)

! EXTRA OPTIONALS: ALL Models !

- AquaToolset (Only need to use the "SoulsModelTool" which should be automatically configured to unpack FLVER files)

(THIS IS NOW OPTIONAL SINCE "MySFformat" CAN EXPORT FBX FILES AS WELL.)

- Material Folder (Elden Ring Data - Only needed if you need to find an MTD Path for an armor set)

(I PUT THIS IN THE FILES SO YOU DON'T NEED TO UNPACK ELDEN RING FOR THIS FOLDER)

FIRST STEP: UXM Selective Unpack

1. Open the UXM Selective Unpack software and make sure you set it to your "eldenring.exe" file.

2. Click on "View Files" and check the box next to "parts".

3. Now click "Unpack". It will make some back-ups and create a new folder called "parts" in your game directory. Copy that folder and put it wherever you'll remember it.

4. Now once you have a copy of that folder in a safe place, go back to UXM and click "restore". Your game directory should be back in its default state.

CONGRATS, YOU NOW HAVE THE MAIN SOURCE OF ALL ARMOR AND WEAPONS IN THE GAME. YOU CAN CLOSE UXM.
