Hooded Idus Knight Silver Grooved Helmet Plus Recolors

Description

This mod adds a green hood to the Idus Knight helmet (Silver Grooved Helmet) and contains a ton of other hood and helmet color combinations to go with my Idus Knight recolor mod. This mod replaces the Black Hood and I recommend changing your character's head size to 0.

THIS MOD REQUIRES EDITS TO THE REGULATION. BIN

In order for the player model head to not clip through the helmet I had to make param edits which resulted in the regulation.bin being changed. If you are not using other mods that edit the regulation.bin just drop the regulation.bin file into the ModEngine3 eldenring-mods folder (same level as the parts and material folders); however, you are using other mods that make regulation.bin changes and use my regulation.bin it will break the other mods. If you would like to make the param changes manually this is how:

1. IMPORTANT: You need to drop the hd_m_1560.partsbnd and hd_m_1560_l.partsbnd files into your ModEngine3 parts folder first before you do the next steps. Smithbox needs to be reading and editing this Black Hood file and not the vanilla in-game one.

2. Download Smithbox

3. Create a new project and point the Project Directory field at C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\garyttierney\me3\config\profiles\eldenring-mods and the Data Directory at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game

4. Click Param Editor (in the top bar) and click EquipParamProtector on the left side

5. In the middle search bar search "black hood" and click on the armor piece that comes up

6. Scroll down to Model Masks and make sure the following rows are 1 and not 0: 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 17, 23, 32, 37, 60-69, 75, 76, 78, 79, 80 - ALL OTHER ROWS MUST BE 0 OR CHANGED TO 0

7. Ctrl+s to save

Installation instructions (if you do not have mods that change the regulation.bin)

Drop the files in the parts folder into your ModEngine3 parts folder and the regulation file into your eldenring-mods folder (same level as the parts and materials folder)
