Guaranteed Item Drops - Shadow of the Erdtree compatible (Max Discovery)

*almost but not quite

Updated version of mam0n's Increase Item discovery mod. As the mod is only a simple regulation.bin param edit, I don't believe it should be regarded as copying their work.

This mod simply increases the discovery value of the Crimson Amber Medallion to the maximum allowed (99. 99%). By the nature of the edit, you are not guaranteed to immediately get rarer items, but the process is at least a whole lot more convenient.

Installation:

1. Backup your save (optional)

2. Backup your regulation.bin, located in your game folder: ...\ELDEN RING\Game

3. Put the edited regulation.bin (this mod) in your game's folder

4. Launch the game in offline mode with anti-cheat disabled.

For disabling anti-cheat you have multiple options:

Anti-cheat toggler and offline launcher

Elden Ring - PCGamingWiki

Offline launcher (No EAC)

To uninstall this mod you simply need to replace the edited regulation.bin with your original file. I added the vanilla regulation.bin in the downloads section in case anyone needs it.

If you wish to manually update this mod for a new patch simply:

1. Install Smithbox (Simple guide for using Smithbox)

2. Make these param changes:

SPEffectParam

310000 (This is the Crimson Amber Medallion, you can make the change to any other item too)

State Info > 66 Modify Item Discovery

Effect Duration Multiplier - State Info > 66 Modify Item Discovery

Item Discovery % > Put your value.

Thank you to mam0n for the guide.
