Fire Knight Armor - Bronze

There's a second version that does the same, while also removing the scale skirt.

The modded armor will show up on phantoms and NPCs as well, such as Queelign.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Extract the .rar file you downloaded. It contains a "parts" folder, and inside it are the .dcx files of the mod.

Drop the "parts" folder inside Mod Engine 2's "mod" folder. If there's already a "parts" folder from another mod in there, you can also drop the .dcx files directly into it.

DESIGN RANT:

This set left me scratching my head when I first found it. It's got three weapons and four helmets to go with it, and their metal bits all follow a warm color scheme. But then the chest, legs and forearms (but not the hands, strangely enough?) are all a cool bluish color that doesn't match the rest of it. I think either would have worked, but not both together, so I went with the warmer color scheme because it fits their fire theme better, and I enjoyed the winged serpent helmet as it already was. And because there'd be less items to tweak.

I wasn't a fan of the skirt. The legs have a lot of long flowy bits already, it covers a lot of detail with a pretty bare scale texture, and the color was a bit agressive too. The set gets away with using bright gold for little details but the skirt isn't particularly small. There's probably a more creative solution than this, but I just desaturated it until it matched the bronzeish color of the rest of the metal. And now it also matches the scale in messmer's armor as well, so bonus points there.

This time around I actually took the time to apply the changes to the low-poly versions of each file rather than just duplicating and renaming the normal ones.
