📋 About This Mod
A comprehensive, unobtrusive tweaking to the game to fit my own personal needs and wants, functioning as a "lite-overhaul" of the game.
Elden Tweaks - A Lite Overhaul: A Brief Overview
Elden Tweaks is a "relatively" lightweight overhaul that is meant to make the game more challenging for seasoned players who don’t want a drastically different experience (IE myself), along with expanding build options available. Think of it as an early rendition of making my own Scholar of the First Sin edition of Elden Ring with some mild Nightreign flavoring sprinkled within.
This page will provide a general overview of the more noteworthy changes the mod makes without diving into specifics. For hard numbers and more detailed changes, please see the changelog document and the spreadsheet.
Player Changes:
-
[]Steadfast, Rage, and Confidence
[
]Confidence: Slightly increased attack power and defense when near max health[/][
]Rage: Increased attack power and defense when at low health[/][
]Steadfast: Slowly recover health over time between the Rage and Confidence thresholds, and receive slightly less status buildup.[/]
[]Players automatically recover FP over time[/]
[]Various changes to stat scaling[/]
[]Light rolling animation has been replaced with Duchess’ (from Nightreign) standard side-stepping move[/]
[]Surge sprint (from Nightreign) has replaced the standard sprinting animation[/]
[]Players now have the Rally effect from Malenia’s Great Rune built-in[/]
[]Backstepping iframes from the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman are now part of the main player kit, with said talisman being reworked.[/]
[]Successive attacks recover a small percentage of stamina[/]
[]The player can also purchase a new item from the Twin Maiden Husk shop at the Roundtable Hold to toggle through several new difficulty modes[/]
[]Camera distance has been pulled back and given a slightly wider field of view[/]
[]A number of new starting classes[/]
Enemy Changes:
[]Enemies also inherit the Rage, Confidence, and Steadfast effects from above.[/]
[]Enemies in general have become stronger due to the growing power level of the player, including greatly increased health, increased damage, increased status resistance, and increased poise[/]
[]Most major bosses now have means to recover more HP during the course of their fights, from avoidable attacks such as grabs, to scripted HP recovery from phase transitions or other major attacks (such as ‘nukes’).
[]Bosses will recover less HP every time
