Elden Ring Upscaler DLSS FSR XeSS and FG

Description

Elden Ring Upscaler replaces the game's TAA with modern upscalers and adds frame generation. Pick DLSS, FSR or XeSS, choose a quality mode (from native DLAA up to Ultra Performance), and add frame generation on top, all from an in-game menu.

Optional: DLSS 5 neural rendering on NVIDIA RTX cards, if you supply NVIDIA's runtime yourself (see Requirements).

OFFLINE ONLY. The mod injects dxgi.dll. Easy Anti-Cheat must be disabled and the game played offline. Never go online with the mod installed.

Installation instructions

• []Extract the archive into ELDEN RING\Game (the folder containing eldenring.exe).[/]

  []You should now have Game\dxgi.dll, Game\EldenRingUpscaler.ini and the Game\EldenRingUpscaler folder.[/]

  []Start the game with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.[/]

  []Press Home in game to open the menu.[/]

Uninstall: delete Game\dxgi.dll, Game\EldenRingUpscaler.ini, Game\EldenRingUpscaler.log and the Game\EldenRingUpscaler folder.

Main features

• []Upscaling: NVIDIA DLSS (with presets), AMD FSR, Intel XeSS. Native AA (DLAA) to Ultra Performance.[/]

  []Frame generation: DLSS Frame Generation, FSR frame generation or XeSS-FG, with any upscaler. The backend can be switched in game.[/]

  []DLSS 5 neural rendering support (optional): if NVIDIA's DLSS 5 runtime is present, the mod can apply it to the scene before the HUD is drawn, with live intensity and style controls.[/]

  []In-game menu (Home): every setting applies instantly and is saved automatically.[/]

  []Sharpening control and an FPS limiter.[/]

  []Hotkeys: F7 upscaler on/off (compare with the game's TAA), F8 DLSS 5 on/off.[/]

  []Safe fallback: if a runtime or your GPU doesn't support a feature, it shows as unavailable and everything else keeps working. Reasons are written to Game\EldenRingUpscaler.log.[/]

  Requirements

  • []Windows 10/11, DirectX 12, Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.[/]

    []DLSS: NVIDIA RTX. DLSS Frame Generation: RTX 40 series or newer.[/]

    []FSR / FSR frame generation: any GPU.[/]

    []XeSS / XeSS-FG: Intel Arc, or any GPU with Shader Model 6. 4.[/]

    []AMD and Intel users: open the menu (Home) and select FSR or XeSS, since DLSS is the default.

  DLSS 5 (optional): the DLSS 5 runtime (nvngx_dlssnr.dll) is not included and is not distributed by this mod. If you have it, place it in Game\EldenRingUpscaler\ and enable DLSS 5 in the menu. Without it, DLSS 5 shows as unavailable and everything else works normally.

  Troubleshooting

  Check Game\EldenRingUpscaler.log: it lists what loaded and why something is unavailable. Please attach it to bug reports. If you use RivaTuner/RTSS or another overlay and run into problems, try disabling it first.
