Easy But Not Too Easy Mod for Elden Ring

This mod is for the 1. 16 Version of Elden Ring. DLC Compatible too. You will have to disable EAC or always launch in offline mode.

About EBNTE Mod:

I made this mod after trying out multiple Elden Ring Easy Mode mods, which did not satisfactorily change the difficulty in the game to my taste. Some made the game too easy by adding things I did not wish to have, like health regen or a very high rune multiplier.

Features:

I tried to keep the features minimal, but helpful. These are:

1. Incoming damage reduced by 30%

2. Slightly reduce received poise damage

3. All outgoing damage scaling increased by 50%

4. Doubled the runes obtained (x2)

Mind you, scaling increase only applies to the number determined by the Scaling Value of the weapon and your current stats, meaning a 50% increase to that number only means a realistic damage increase of 10%-15%. This makes it feel a bit more balanced in my opinion.

Optional:

I have also included a 50% incoming damage reduced version. All the other features remain the same. Use only one version of the two.

Additionally, a file with only damage reduction from the original mod is also available for download.

Please provide suggestions to help balance it even more, for an easier, but not too easy experience!

How To Install:

1. Make sure you make a backup of your vanilla regulation.bin before overwriting!!!

2. Disable Easy-Anti Cheat make EAC disabled (you can use this mod). This is to NOT GET BANNED.

3. Extract the regulation.bin file from this mod into your Game folder, where your Elden Ring .exe is. Overwrite if prompted.

For only those, who want to merge this mod with other regulation.bin modifying mods, I've included the required files with my changes, which can be merged via Param Editor in Smithbox.

I have also used Runes from Kills X2 - X5 - X10 - X50 - X100 - X200 mod for doubling the runes. Credit goes to Kalypxo for the .csv files.
