Drop Anything

The latest version of this mod is compatible with Elden Ring v. 1. 16. 1 released 8/21/2025.

Use this mod at your own risk. Given many of these items are not able to be removed from your inventory by default, doing such may have unintended or unexpected consequences. It would be wise to make a backup of your save files in your "..\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing" folder before trying this mod.

Description

This mod grants the ability to Leave or Discard nearly every item in your inventory, including:

  []Sorceries / Incantations

  []Spirit Ashes

  []Remembrances

  []Great Runes

  []Upgrade Materials / Smithing Stones / Glovewort

  []Crystal Tears

  []Bell Bearings

  []Whetblades

  []Cookbooks

  []Most Tools

  []All Consumables

  []All Ammunition

  []All Crafting Materials

  []Multiplayer Items

  []Info Items / "About" Notes

  Let me know if you notice any items I may have missed or that you think should be leavable/discardable.

  Note: This will mod will not have an effect on new items introduced from any other mods you are using (e.g. the items added to your inventory in Seamless Coop).

  How to Install

  There are two files to choose from:

  • []Drop Anything (Only): Modified regulation.bin for the Drop Anything mod only.

    []Drop Anything and Infinite Larval Tears: Modified regulation.bin for both the Drop Anything mod and my Infinite Larval Tears mod which allows you to purchase an infinite number of Larval Tears from the Twin Maiden Husks and two other merchants who sell them.

    If using ModEngine2:

    • []Extract the regulation.bin file in this zip to your ModEngine2 mod folder.

      []Launch Elden Ring with ModEngine2 Launcher.

      Otherwise, you can install it directly to your Elden Ring Game directory:

      • []Navigate to your Elden Ring Game folder (e.g. "..\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game")

        []Make a backup of your current regulation.bin file.

        []Replace your current regulation.bin file with the modded one provided in this zip.

        []Launch Elden Ring (not on official matchmaking servers).
