DEATH KNIGHT TWIN AXES OVERCHARGED EDITION

MOVESET OVERHAUL

This mod is a complete rework of the Death Knight Twin Axes. Using a variety of Elden Ring animations and other retargeted animations, almost no stone is left unturned, making it a whole new weapon.

NEW MOVESET

One and two handed movesets are both overhauled, with the two handed (dual wield) being the focus.

SWEEPING STRIKES

New alternate R2 attacks used during the light attack chain. These attacks can replace the 2nd or 3rd light attack in a chain. They are slower and consume more stamina, but inflict more poise and stagger, and "skip" you ahead one attack in the chain.

IMPROVED GUARD AND DEFLECTS

A new guard pose, and improved guard statistics. (70% phys absorb, improved elemental absorb, 50 stability.) While the weapon is equipped you have access to the deflection mechanic. It works exactly like the Deflecting Hardtear, except the bonus damage to guard counters is only 5% per stack instead of 20%. This also applies if one handing the weapon, so you can deflect with a shield as well.

BLINKBOLT BACKSTEP

Backstep is faster and has Blinkbolt visuals, along with i-frames roughly equivalent to a dodge roll.

BLINKBOLT AOW CHANGES

You can now perform a backstep attack at no FP cost by using R1 after the dash. The dash activates faster and accepts directional input if you have manual attack aiming enabled. The spinning attack is still the R2 followup to the dash, and applies a weapon buff.

WEAPON BUFF

The weapon buff is modest, lasting 40 seconds and adding only 60 Lightning damage. It can also be applied with a feint attack which drains 18 FP, the same amount used by the AOW dash and spinning attack combined. However...

SPELL ATTACKS

... While the weapon buff is active, you have access to enhanced lightning attacks.
