Installation

To use this mod you will need to:

• []Download Mod Engine 2: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases

[]Extract the contents of my mod into the "mod" folder in the same directory as the "modengine2_launcher.exe".

[]Click launchmod_eldenring.bat to launch the game.

  []Have fun EXCALIBAAAAAAAing people.

  • []Since this is a replacer and I had to modify a few effect files used by Carian Grandeur that may be used by other effects so a few blue effects within the game could appear yellow.

[] If there is a better file structure you'd prefer than what I posted feel free to give feedback. First Elden Ring mod here!

Carian grandeur modding tips for the curious

Carian grandeur recoloring requires manually modifying a total of 19 effect files (.fxr) and 3 texture files (.ddc). Its truly a pain, I wouldn't recommend. For reference, these are the files:

    • []450020.fxr, 450021.fxr, 450023.fxr, 450024.fxr, 450025.fxr, 450026.fxr, 450027.fxr, 450028.fxr, 450029.fxr, 450030.fxr, 450031.fxr, 450032.fxr, 523000.fxr, 523740.fxr, 523741.fxr, 523753.fxr, 510120.fxr, 523040.fxr

      []s64002_n.dds, s88300_a.dds, s88300_em.dds (might only need to modify s88300_a.dds)
