Call for Aid - Evolving Tarnished Summons

Adds two new spirit ashes, each one allowing you to summon a unique pair of Tarnished allies who gradually gain new equipment and abilities when upgraded.

The summon cost is split between HP and FP, so that characters with the lowest mind stat can still summon them but the cost never becomes too negligible.

You can purchase the summoning items from Merchant Kalé's shop. They are upgraded with ghost glovewort.

Every 2 upgrade levels (+2, +4, +6, +8, +10) they will gain increased stats, change their gear, and learn new spells and skills. They also gain access to a variety of consumables over time, including pots, perfumes, and damage / defense increasing items. These upgrades generally keep the progression of the game in mind, i.e. +2 gives them access to Weeping Peninsula items, +4 for Liurnia, and so on.

These summons use a unique upgrade curve which scales them to feel more like co-op partners than spirit ashes. This means that they deal a bit more damage than other spirit ashes, but have much less defense and HP, especially at high upgrade levels. They have a few ways to keep themselves alive in exchange, such as having multiple flasks, a small HP leeching effect on melee attacks, and a small passive HP regen if they haven't taken damage in a while. They also have light NG+ scaling so they can keep up in later playthroughs.

WARNING

Using this mod in regular online mode WILL GET YOU BANNED!

This mod adds new items to the game, which the game servers and anticheat will notice on your save and ban you for having.

If you're going to go online, either use a separate save or make VERY sure that you've deleted all traces of this mod before doing so.

Seamless Coop is 100% safe to use this with, as it has it's own separate save system and doesn't sync with the regular online servers at all.

With Seamless Coop, make sure everyone has the exact same version installed!

I can't help you with any problems that may come up because someone in your group doesn't have the same version as another person.

At best it will cause your games to desync, and at worst it might crash your games or not let you connect to each other.

This means you must all be using the same version number and file.

The Summons:

Call for Aid: Hero and Prisoner / Alendra and Ludger (+2 and above)

• []Alendra is a warrior from the badlands, similar to Nepheli Loux. Starts with the hero class loadout, uses heavy melee weapons and shields.

  []Ludger is a criminal who was previously trained in glintstone sorceries. Starts with the prisoner class loadout, balances melee and casting.

  Call for Aid: Prophet and Samurai / Kerei and Tachibana (+2 and above)

  • []Kerei is a faithful prophet, similar to Brother Corhyn. Starts with the prophet class loadout, prefers casting and uses offensive and supportive incantations.

    []Tachibana is a samurai who is down on his luck. Starts with the samurai class loadout, balances melee and ranged combat with his bow.
