Block Damage Completely

Ditch that shield. Time for dual-wielding!

FEATURES

1. All Weapons' All Damage Negation increased to 100.

2. All Weapons' Guard Boost has been doubled. .

NOTES

1. In order to block using right hand-weapons, you have to dual-wield it. Press X + RB to dual-wield right hand weapon. Press LB to block.

2. Some variations for physical damage only are provided.

INSTALLATION

To use this mod, you will need Mod Engine 2:

1. Install Mod Engine 2

- Download from: https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases

- Extract and copy content of ZIP file to your <game folder>. (Ex: Game\Elden Ring\)

- Open file "launchmod_eldenring.bat" and add your game path.

.\modengine2_launcher.exe -t er -c .\config_eldenring.toml

.\modengine2_launcher.exe -t er -c .\config_eldenring.toml --game-path ".\\eldenring.exe"

- Run "launchmod_eldenring.bat" to play your game.

2. Add this mod to Mod Engine 2.

- Download this mod.

- Extract and copy content of ZIP file to <Game folder>\mod. (Ex: Game\Elden Ring\mod\)

- Open "config_eldenring.toml" and modify:

{ enabled = true, name = "blockdamagecompletely", path = "mod\\blockdamagecompletely" }

For Merging with other Mods:

This mod modifies physGuardCutRate, magGuardCutRate, fireGuardCutRate, thunGuardCutRate, darkGuardCutRate and staminaGuardDef props for weapons' row in param EquipParamWeapon in "regulation.bin".

You can merge this mod with others using Smithbox.

Follow this tutorial on Youtube by Mr. Golden_YT to merge "regulation.bin" file.

CSV file is included in zip file for merging with other mods

However, steps are provided below:

1. In Smithbox, click Param Editor then click EquipParamWeapon.

2. Go to Data -> Import CSV -> From file... -> All fields then choose "EquipParamWeapon.csv" that you have downloaded. Do not forget to save.
