Balanced Farming & Progression Mod

## Overview

This mod improves farming and progression in Elden Ring by increasing rune gain, item discovery, upgrade material drops, and equipment load bonuses.

The goal is to reduce excessive grinding while keeping the overall gameplay balance intact.

This mod modifies:

• Rune multipliers

• Item discovery rates

• Smithing stone drop chances

• Glovewort pickup quantities

• Merchant inventories

• Equip load talismans

Offline play is recommended.

## Rune Gain Changes

Gold Pickled Fowl Foot

• Rune gain increased to 300%

Gold Scarab Talisman

• Rune gain increased to 200%

These bonuses stack and greatly improve rune farming efficiency.

## Item Discovery Changes

Silver Pickled Fowl Foot

• Item discovery significantly increased

Silver Scarab Talisman

• Item discovery increased to 200%

These changes improve the chances of enemies dropping items.

## Equip Load Buffs

Arsenal Charm

• Equip Load increased to 75% of normal value

Arsenal Charm +1

• Equip Load increased to 100%

Great-Jar's Arsenal

• Equip Load increased to 150%

This allows heavier builds earlier in the game.

## Smithing Stone Drop Changes

Enemy drop probability for smithing stones has been increased.

Enemies still drop 1 stone per drop, but the chance of receiving the drop is higher.

Battlemage enemies

• Drop 1 Somber Smithing Stone

• Drop chance increased--60%

Glintstone Digger enemies

• Drop 1 Somber Smithing Stone

• Drop chance increased--70%

Small Fingercreeper enemies

• Drop 1 Somber Smithing Stone

• Drop chance increased--65%

Stone Digger enemies

• Drop 10 Smithing Stone

• Drop chance increased--50%

This makes farming upgrade materials more consistent without making it guaranteed.

## Glovewort Pickup Changes

Most Glovewort pickups now give 3 materials instead of 1.

Grave Glovewort

• Pickup quantity: 3

Ghost Glovewort

• Pickup quantity: 3

This allows players to upgrade spirit ashes faster.

## Merchant Changes

Larval Tear can now be purchased with unlimited stock from the following merchants:

Pidia, Carian Servant

Somber Smithing Stone is now Available in unlimited amount from Starting at following merchants:

Twin Maiden Husks

This allows players to freely respec builds and experiment with different playstyles.

## Installation

1. Install ModEngine2

2. Place regulation.bin in:

modengine2/mod/

3. Launch Elden Ring using launchmod_eldenring.bat
