Better Combat Modpack(Outdated)

This is a combat-focused modpack centered around the Sword Heart Shura mod. It’s a massive overhaul of the game’s combat and, in my opinion, one of the best Elden Ring mods on this site.

Some time ago, I decided to create a modpack using it and Smithbox, but the result turned out pretty bad. So I decided to make another one, with fewer bugs and more interesting mods — and this is what came out. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun.

It’s important to point out that this is a simple merge. Most of the mods combined with Sword Heart only modify the regulation.bin, so the merging process was relatively easy.

Additionally, I asked the mod creators for permission, but not all of them replied, and some haven’t logged into the site in months. Because of that, I decided to upload the modpack even though not everyone is aware of it.

However, if any of the modders have an issue with the modpack, want their mod removed from it, or even ask me to delete everything, I won’t hesitate for a second. I have no intention of profiting from your work in any way.

Installation:

1. Download ModEngine2 and place it in your Elden Ring folder or inside the "game" folder — I personally prefer the "game" folder.

2. Download the mod and place it in the mod folder (which is inside ModEngine2).

3. Also, download Alt-Saves to avoid potential bugs with the Sword Heart Shura mod. To install Alt-Saves, download it and place it in the same folder where modengine2.exe is located. Then, open the config_eldenring.toml file and add ["eldenring_alt_saves.dll"] under the "external_dlls" section, just like shown below.
