Turns FC 26 from an arcade sprint into a real match. Real tempo, weighted touch, a referee that finally calls fouls, a CPU that defends with its body — plus rebuilt wet-weather physics. Free, self-contained, plug & play, with optional add-ons to tune fouls and pace.

What changes

⏱ Real match tempo

Animation timing retuned across every movement state — no more skating. Sprint capped and split for on-ball vs off-ball. Jog and walk slowed, a controlled sprint kept usable. CPU catch-up speed boost cut in half.

🏋 Weighted movement

Heavier first touch — less ball stickiness on the dribble. Turning agility reduced on and off the ball. Bodies have weight again.

🎯 Smarter passing

Slower pass travel, more deliberate build-up. Through-pass decisions sharpened. Less ping-pong, more football.

🛡 Defense & shape

Marking distance, marking speed and pass-lane coverage tightened. Defensive line compactness raised. Tackle frequency down, success variance up. Heavier jockey and defensive turns.

🟨 Fouls & physicality (new in v1. 1)

The referee calls far more fouls and remembers repeat offenders — foul the same man twice and the card comes out. CPU defenders use their bodies (barging, jostling, real duels). Reds recalibrated, box shirt-pulls toned down. Optional add-ons make the ref stricter or looser.

⚽ Shooting

Shot speed reduced across all shot types. Global shot error raised, aim assist reduced, more natural curl. Set-piece and corner spin retuned.

🧤 Goalkeepers

Save-difficulty weights reduced, deflection logic retuned for realistic rebounds — kept within safe limits.

🧠 CPU & dynamics

Build-up patience increased, shot selection rebalanced, team-level emotional dynamics tuned, global speed boost reduced.

Two TrueFoot signatures

🌧 Wet-weather physics, rebuilt

Rain and snow get their own match physics. In the wet the ball skids low then drags as the turf soaks — a shot can catch the heavy grass and die on the line. Snow brings even less grip. You feel the weather in the first touch.

🎭 Authentic reactions, unlocked

FC 26's hidden physical layer restored in the base tier — slips, stumbles and sliding finishes fire naturally, even with Custom gameplay and Authenticity OFF. Bodies behave like bodies again.

    Optional — bolder CPU

    Under CPU Sliders → AI Behaviour: Custom, push Buildup Speed and Shot Frequency to 80–99 for a more proactive CPU. Tune to taste; 50 stays valid.
