Are you tired of outdated databases, incorrect team rosters, and missing realism in EA Sports FC 26? This project is a massive, meticulously detailed database overhaul that propels your game directly into the 2026/2027 season with real-world accuracy.

This is a pure, standalone Squad File format. No third-party mod managers or external tools are required. Just drag, drop, load, and play.

## About this mod

Unlike generic squad updates, True Life Squads acts as a continuously maintained, personalized database. Every move — from blockbuster multi-million euro transfers to under-the-radar free agent signings and managerial shakeups — is based on verified real-world football news, cross-checked against primary sources rather than a single feed. This release updates the original summer window overhaul with a second wave of confirmed moves, plus a handful of corrections where an early-reported deal was later reversed or replaced (see Changelog, below).

## Installation guide

Follow these steps to load the updated database into your game:

1. Download the zip file and extract it.

2. Inside, locate the squad file.

3. Paste the file directly into your game's settings folder:

`AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26\settings` (path may vary depending on your installation).

4. Launch EA Sports FC 26.

5. Navigate to: Customize > Profile > Load Squads.

6. Select the file named "The One You Are Looking".

7. Critical: when starting a new Career Mode, select "Use Current Squads". Do not select "Initial Squads" or download updates, or the game will overwrite this file.
