FC26 Smooth Fix FPS Installer

This installer is designed to improve EA SPORTS FC 26 PC smoothness, frame pacing, and overall gameplay stability, especially for players getting stutter, uneven FPS, second half slowdown, menu lag, or inconsistent performance even on decent hardware.

It applies the same fix setup that made FC26 run smoothly at 4K, Ultra settings, ray tracing on, locked 60 FPS, on an RTX 3060  12GB Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4. 00GHz.

By moving the important frame control away from FC26’s broken in-game sync behaviour and into the Nvidia driver profile.

The installer gives you simple menu choices and applies the selected setup automatically.

What it does

The installer:

Imports an optimized Nvidia Profile Inspector profile for FC26

Patches your chosen Max Loader Threads value into the Nvidia profile before importing it

Applies Windows registry smoothness fixes for FC26.exe

Sets FC26 to High Performance GPU mode

Disables fullscreen optimisation for FC26

Enables High DPI aware compatibility behaviour

Disables GameDVR / AppCapture background capture behaviour

Finds your FC26.exe automatically

Finds your FC26 fcsetup.ini automatically

Skips old FC 24 and FC 25 folders

Searches hidden AppData locations

Backs up your existing fcsetup.ini before replacing it

Generates and applies a new fcsetup.ini based on your chosen resolution and quality

Installer options

First, you choose:

Max Loader Threads:

Recommended starting point:

Then you choose your resolution:

1 = 720p, 1280x720

2 = 1080p, 1920x1080

3 = 4K, 3840x2160

Then you choose graphics quality:

5 = Ultra Raytracing

The installer then generates the correct

fcsetup.inifrom those choices and applies it automatically.

Important settings

For the fix to work properly, FC26 should have:

In-game VSync OFF

Do not rely on FC26’s own frame limiter

The Nvidia profile handles the smoothness side instead:

VSync forced ON through Nvidia Profile Inspector

Frame Rate Limiter V3 set to 60 FPS

This is the main part of the fix, because FC26’s own VSync and frame limiter can cause bad frame pacing even when the FPS counter looks fine.

Backup safety
