We want to hear your suggestions about the missions in general and the difficulty level in particular.

This mod is a collection of cut and unreleased missions that were found hiding in the game's files, now restored and updated.

Modders have known about them ever since the EDF5 Missions were discovered, so this isn't the first time that they see the light of day.

What is special about this new edition, is that the missions were finetuned and expanded extensively, with new events and mechanics.

27 missions are currently available, including masterpieces like Island Empire and Tomorrow's War, and the secret racing level (what?!).

Owners of Mission Packs 1 and 2 may also play the mod on a higher difficulty, with different online limits and better loot.

More missions will become available as the beta progresses, so stay tuned!

Adamant Vanguard

"The invaders made landfall and entranched into a fortified stronghold along the coast. Their defensive strategy has been flawless and left no flanks unprotected. Our options are limited. The mechanized team will attempt to lure out the defenders, distracting the enemy just long enough for the infantry to sneak in and destroy the camp. Good luck!"

A typical siege mission with shieldbearers and dropships. It has much in common with several old EDF5 missions, but tough enemies like kruuls and scyllas make it stand apart. Just like in "Island Empire", all spawners were meticulously placed so they couldn't be sniped easily from afar. Among the unused missions found in the game's files, this one was one of the most complete.

Ambush in the Valley

"An important staging ground for the alien invasion sits just past this mountain range. From there, enemy troops descend from Mothership number 3 and are sent to battlefields all around the world. You are to reach the target area across the ridge, and rendez-vous with Team Bravo to set up the attack. Hopefully, the journey through the mountains will prove uneventful."

It's over, Anakin, I have the high ground! If that saying was a mission, it would be this one. You are fighting for your life on unfavorable ground, stuck as you are at the bottom of a ravine while ever larger waves of enemies descend upon you. Classes with low mobility will rapidly find themselves in a death trap, unless they follow the advice of the jedi and climb up the slopes fast.

Army of Steel

"We received a distress call from Team Bravo, currently under siege by an army of androids, led by aliens. Actually it is not clear, whether it is the aliens leading the androids, or the other way around. What matters is that the situation is critical. Find Team Bravo and join them in the fight against the invaders."

A mission of average length and difficulty, like you would find in the vanilla campaign. It has a foggy, desaturated look, and mostly deals with androids and flying drones. If the mission's filename is any indication, this one might have been related to "Mechanical Men", possibly a sequel.

Clash with Erginus

"To combat the mysterious monster Erginus, headquarters decided to make use of our brand new Walking Fortress Balam. It’s in transit right now. Once we crash all of its 2000 tons of steel into it, Erginus will be history! This is the first time that the Balam is tested in battle, but it should be alright. Storm Team, head out to the scene and support the operation."

This mission is a reference to "Crash", the fifty-third level of EDF 4. 1, and also the one where Erginus was finally slain. It's a quick and dir
