Increace EDF6 WeaponLimit

Description

Raises EDF6's 2048 weapon limit by relocating the weapon

possession table in memory.

Installation

Place edf6_weaponlimit.dll and edf6_weaponlimit.ini in the

Mods/Plugins/ folder.

For details, see Readme.txt in the zip.

Main features

• []Raises the weapon slot limit from 2048 to 8192 (configurable)[/]

[]Weapon possession is stored per save slot in Mods/SaveData/.bin[/]

[]Your existing possession data is imported automatically on first load[/]

[]Deleting a save slot in-game also clears its data[/]

[]Weapons still drop from missions and unlock normally[/]

Only the game's memory is patched. No game files are modified,

and the game's own save format is untouched.

  Notes

Tested offline only. Online use is not supported and not recommended.

Weapons obtained while this patch is active are recorded only in

Mods/SaveData/.bin. If you remove the patch, those weapons are lost,

and any weapon beyond ID 2047 will no longer be recognised.

Your vanilla save itself is not modified and will still load.

Back up your saves before installing:

  %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\EarthDefenseForce6

  Shout outs

Made after reading EDF6. 9's post about the weapon limit. I wanted to help

out as a fan. I'm not sure how useful this will be, but I hope it serves

  as a reference.
