📋 About This Mod
Removes the visual hit effect of the shields of Kruul and Kraken for significant performance improvement
(i) Description
Some players have raised concerns about how attacked Kruul shields can cause significant performance loss for even strong PC. This can be noticed by using rapid fire guns like phalanx right against Kruul shields, or in missions where many kruul are attacked by heavy player/NPC gunfire at once.
The visual hit effects that occur right as the Kruul and Kraken shields are fired upon seems to be the main cause of performance lag.
This mod removes the effects as shown in the comparison screenshots
Visual mod only, no change to enemy shield functionality.

Unpack into "Mods" folder in your EDF6 installation. (Mod loader not included).
