Storm Rider class

The Storm Rider is a hybrid class of Ranger and Air Raider, with elements of both.

It replaces the Ranger, can dash and features a variety of support options for coop play.

At its core, the class is a synergy of two very different weapon slots and a unique support slot.

• []Weapon Slot 1 offers a reliable array of Ranger weapons, from Assault Rifles to Acid Guns.

[]Weapon Slot 2 is where the Air Raider's most powerful weapons are, from Airstrikes to Turrets and Healing Beacons.

[]The Support Slot can be set for multiple roles: throwing grenades, upgrading the dash, party support or calling vehicles.

New weapons are also available to the Storm Rider:

• []Blast Rifles: a powerful short range weapon, effective against armor.

[]Decoy Launchers: devices to either distract the enemy, or lure them into traps using C4.

[]Plasma Chargers: support items that recharge the energy of Wing Divers.

• Storm Grenades: can be thrown quickly with the vehicle button, while you use other weapons.

The Storm Rider is a powerful tool for both solo and team players, and also a safe bet in underground missions.

Its weaknesses come from extended reload times with all firearms, a lack of easy-to-use homing weapons, and a more limited selection of vehicles compared to the Air Raider's full arsenal.
