CHANGED (v1. 6 -> v1. 7)

- Removed EnableXray param. Verified no engine consumers in DL:Beast.

- No other functional changes from v1. 6.

CHANGED (v1. 5 -> v1. 6)

- Story Mode's true narrative-pacing intent restored. v1. 5 had

accidentally included wall running and 1. 2x movement speed —

those belong to Apex Predator and Ghost Runner, not Story Mode.

Story Mode keeps vanilla mobility on purpose so the narrative

experience stays tight. The buffs are gone.

- Kept (verified-working): NightVision 35%, 2. 5x health, infinite

stamina, no fall damage, infinite durability, perfect block /

dodge slow-mo, 3x medkit/food HP, no recoil/spread/sway, 3x XP,

zero death penalty, zero hunger.

Dying Light: The Beast has a great story. This mod removes every frustration so you can experience it.

Full health, zero hunger, maxed vision, 3x XP. You die when the story says you do.

HOW THIS MOD WORKS

----------------------------------------

This mod is a separate PAK file that loads alongside the game's vanilla data.

It does NOT overwrite or modify any vanilla game files. The game reads both PAKs

and uses the modded version of changed files at runtime. Remove the mod PAK and

the game returns to pure vanilla instantly. You do not need to back up vanilla

files -- they stay sealed inside data0.pak and are never touched.

SAVE FILE PROTECTION -- IMPORTANT

The mod itself does not corrupt saves. The risk is specifically about loading

a save while a mod is installed AFTER a game update, before the save engine has

registered the new game version.

Safe protocol after any game update:

1. Remove the mod PAK (or comment its MultiMod line)

2. Launch the game and load your save once with no mod installed

3. Save and quit

4. Reinstall the mod

5. Continue playing

Follow this every game update and your saves stay safe.
