📋 About This Mod
I was really getting annoyed with "W+A" and "W+D" movement being noticeably slower than just holding "W", so I matched the strafe speed to walk forward speed and it feels a lot smoother to me. Strafe movement includes diagonal backwards movement, I have adjusted backwards movement to make this feel less jarring.
Steam needs to be set to Offline mode while Techland events are active for this mod to work. I don't know how to fix this.
Installation:
Place Data2.pak in steamapps\common\Dying Light The Beast\ph_ft\source
Modifies the following values in "scripts/player/player_variables.scr" and "scripts/player/perma_world/perma_world_player_variables.scr":

1. 1 Changes:
-Matched crouch strafe speed to crouch forward speed
-Increased walk and crouch backwards speed slightly

-Very basic fix to get the mod working with game version 1. 4.

-Should be able to turn your flashlight on now lol sorry for delay
1. 6 Changes:
Support for new Restored Land mode and compatibility fix for main mode. Techland adjusted strafe and backwards movement speeds to values specific to Restored Land mode, my values simply match the ones I modified for normal mode and may break Restored Land specific balancing. I will play through over weekend and update Restored Land values if needed.
