Infinite weapon durability (1.6.3)

Installation

1. Take the "data2.pak" file

2. Put it into "Dying Light - The Beast \ ph_ft \ source

3. rename to data3.pak if you already have data2.pak

The mod is currently broken thanks to techland, as said in BaneSixEcho's pinned post. However, it can be fixed by restricting the game's access to the internet, by blocking it in Windows Defender Firewall:

Search in Windows for "Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security"

Press "Inbound Rules" in the left Toolbar

Press "New Rule..." in the right Toolbar

Select "Program" -> "This program path:" -> "Browse..." and go into your game folder

it should look something like

"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light The Beast\ph_ft\work\bin\x64"

and select "DyingLightGame_TheBeast_x64_rwdi.exe" and press Next

Select "Block the Connection" and press Next

Make sure it applies on all the Profiles (Domain,Private,Public) and press Next

Give it a simple name like "dying light" so you can find it again when you want to play Co-Op and press Finish

Repeat from Step 2 but select "Outbound Rules" instead of "Inbound Rules"

this is probably a temporary solution for now, but it will work

to revert these rules for co-op, simply right click them in the list and press disableThanks to BaneSixEcho and TheFaiint for the fix!
