Apex Predator Mode (Beast Mode Rework)

Apex Predator Mode has now been updated to be compatible with the 1. 4 Patch. This is a temporary hotfix and I intend to play the New Game + to discover any technical & balance related issues (legend levels)

All the variants of V1. 1 were meant to be tailored for individual requests. This V2. 0 general update compiles some of the important feedbacks from the community.

• []Population densities and spawn limits were tuned down to ease the load on system performance, while still providing a satisfying amount of meat bags to shred.

  []Changes to the human form specs have been discarded; now the mod only modifies beast mode abilities.

  []The damage resistance balance patch from V1. 1c is retained.

  []VFX disable patch from V1. 1d is retained.

I hear you guys! I understand not everyone wants to be ripping through hordes of zombies at all times. I understand the population factor can break the immersion, gameplay, or sometimes your system. My bad :P I made that aspect optional by breaking the mod files into data6.pak (population) and data7.pak (beast mode). In addition, the population mod file will now limit the rooftop spawn to anywhere between 2 and 6.

I based the fury gauge management on IMaVeRicK's "Beast Mode Unlimited" (https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglightthebeast/mods/446). Therefore, Kyle Crane will be able to activate beast mode at any time, and beast abilities will not cost fury gauge.

Once the beast mode is enabled:

[]Increased damage resistance

[]Night vision enabled in the dark

[]Sprint faster than a volatile

[]Melee attacks hit like a truck; damage scales with level

[]Fists have a chance of applying electrocution, increased range, and increased damage size

[]Consecutive fist attack speed is increased slightly

[]Roar applies a heavy stun (instead of 'frightened') to all nearby enemies for 4 seconds, even interrupting a volatile's ongoing attack animation

[]Wield the grappling hook faster and without limit, traveling in the air like spiderman

[]Constant health regeneration and a significant heal from each successful melee attack
