Remove street infected and volatiles

This is a modification of the mod "Remove roaming Infected" by N0nchalant and srteam. If you're looking for a slightly more challenging experience I recommend their mod instead.

The mod has been briefly tested on ver. 1. 23. 2p on 16th and 17th of August 2025.

What does it do

This mod removes randomly spawning infected on the streets, rooftops and other random areas of the open world. It also disables all randomly spawning volatiles at night. It might also disable other volatile spawn zones.

Some zombies still can (and do) appear on the streets, when they are spawned by an event or are related to some quest or activity nearby. So you will still get zombies attacking a random survivor, or an occasional group roaming around a loot chest and similar. Zombies inside buildings and all scripted encounters during quests should remain untouched.

I only want to remove volatiles

I have added an optional version of this mod, that only removes random night volatiles, and leaves the regular infected untouched. Download the optional version instead of the main one. ONLY PICK ONE VERSION.

I have briefly tested this optional version by running around for one night, confirming that no random volatiles are present with this mod active. 21th of December 2025, confirmed working with current version.
