No Zombie Burning Smoke

No burning smoke –fart cloud – effect from biter zombies.

The biter zombies are affected by sunlight and there is a smoke effect where the zombies skin is

burning constantly. Unfortunately the effect looks quite fake, I dubbed it

zombie fart cloud.

This mod removes the smoking fart cloud.

A simple mod with no files required to download, simply follow the instructions below. See images

for comparison.

Navigate to your Dying Light 2 install directory.

Find data0.pak in: Dying Light 2 > ph > source

Open data0.pak using an archive program such as 7Zip or WinZip.

Navigate to the 'burning' folder found here:

data0.pak > gpufx > effects > burning

If you want to make a backup of these files, just copy them to a folder before proceeding

Delete these 3 files:

biter_sunlight_burning_head.gpufx

biter_sunlight_burning_limb.gpufx

biter_sunlight_burning_torso.gpufx

I am still searching if there are other burning effects on other types of enemy that could also be

removed, please drop a message if you find any so I can update.
