Elemental Rifle Ammo

This mod allows you to use ammunition with various elemental effects for rifles.

To switch between types of ammunition, a crossbow bolt selector is used, so in essence we have a kind of hybrid between bolts and standard rifle cartridges. Since the selector is tied to the weapon subtype (bows and crossbows), we cannot use it for rifle ammunition, as a result there are several restrictions, firstly we cannot use the standard rifle sight (it is recommended to set the dot sight in the hud settings), in secondly, there is no muzzle flash when firing, as well as some reduction in weapon shaking. Blueprints of elemental bolts are used to create ammunition, standard ammo from the agent's magazine or found in the open world is not used. Also, all types of elemental ammunition will be presented separately, when using them, none of the above restrictions apply to weapons.Features

  Installation

  • []Download the archive and move the `Data2.pak` file to the game's folder (`Dying Light 2\ph\source`).

    []If there is already `Data2.pak` there, rename this to DataX.pak and so on accordingly.

    []If you are using optional files, select one and move the `Data2.pak` file to the game's folder (`Dying Light 2\ph\source`), they cannot be used together, or with the main mod.

    Uninstallation

    Delete `Data2.pak` from the game's folder (`Dying Light 2\ph\source`).

    Bugs/issues

    Combined use with other mods that interact with player variables may cause crashes.
