DL2 and 1 Unpacking Kit

A Dying Light 2 (and 1) Unpacking kit. I found it on the Dying Light 2 Resources discord server while I was trying to find a rpack unpacker on the internet, but just couldnt find anything. But alas, I am sharing it here on Nexus for people to download.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the zip

2. Extract the zip into a folder somewhere

3. Open the rp5lunpacker folder and go to Dying Light 2

4. Now, head to wherever your DyingLight2StayHuman\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets is located at

5. Drag the selected file you want to extract onto Dyinglight2.exe (For me, it was common_meshes_pc.rpack because I wanted to view the firearm models)

Your assets should be extracted now!

I don't know how to view most of them, except for the DDS files and the .ascii files, unfortunately, but I can tell how to view the .ascii files here!

1. Install Blender 2. 82 (THE PLUGIN WILL ONLY WORK WITH THIS VERSION OF BLENDER!)

2. Install the XNALaraMesh. 2. 0. 2(2).zip (DO NOT EXTRACT IT!)

3. Import the .ascii file you want.

4. Delete UV MAP 1, it has messed up UVs, UV map 2 is what you want

I will try to make a visual guide someday, when I get the time. Anyways, enjoy ripping the game!
