Xray Skeleton graphics effect remover (Nvidia only)

ZOMBIE XRAY graphics removal mod for DYING LIGHT on PC.

Nvidia videocards only!

Currently working on Dying Light version 1. 6. 2 (01/01/2016)

This is a simple mod to remove the Skeleton Xray graphics effect when doing a melee/takedown/stun attack/grab on a zombie in Dying Light for PC. It also removes the Skeleton Xray on stun attacks too (When it goes 'slowmo' for a few seconds when attacking a zombie with a hand weapon).

There is another mod available where you edit this line (<prop n="XrayEffectProbability") in the "default_levels.xml" file but it will NOT disable the Xray effect when you melee/grab/stun/takedown a zombie, this mod will. I think changing <prop n="XrayEffectProbability" only changes an Xray effect when shooting a zombie with a gun but Im not sure.

For example, the two screenshots I have uploaded show a zombie being stunned/pushed away after grabbing me and the other where I have grabbed/melee the zombie. In both screenshots you would see the Xray effect. With the mod, it disappears! :)

I will upload a video showing the difference when I get a moment.

There should not be any or a very very small performance hit when using this mod. The mod simply hides the Xray skeleton, nothing more. So performance should NOT be affected.

PLEASE NOTE!

This mod does NOT work with AMD/ATI videocards, only NVIDIA. Unfortunately I have not found a way for this to work with AMD/ATI videocards.

The mod cannot be 'toggled' on/off ingame so the files from the mod will have to be deleted or temporarily renamed to return to vanilla (xray effect enabled)
