· These blueprints will allow you to use your preferred weapon type and appearance even in end-game roaming regardless of its base damage amount ·
Blueprints will be automatically learned upon passing the intro/tutorial in the Tower when you get to actually start
playing outside or loading a save game at any point after that. If loading into The Following/Countryside map,
they will be immediately learned upon loading a save game in that map or starting a new The Following game.
I was quite disappointed in the way weaponry was configured to function in DL (partly for some of the reasons lyravega mentioned in his article)
and I put some work into finding ways to bring low-level/low-damage weapons up in damage so they could be useful in end-game roaming.
I've now finished this mod which achieves that goal due to Nexus user KillerHell showing an interest in it.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 741 endorsements and over 21k downloads.
- Lets you stick with your favorite weapon type and appearance without being underpowered.
- Simple concept: 4 blueprints, no complex mechanics.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 4 blueprints—might not cover every weapon type you want.
- Last updated in December 2023—may not work with newer game patches.
For players who love a specific melee weapon's look but hate that it falls off late-game. Also great for role-players who want to keep a signature weapon without sacrificing damage. Skip if you're fine switching to meta weapons or prefer overhaul mods.
💡 Beginner Tips
