Skip prompt removal. Removes annoying skip hints from dialogues, cutscenes, and cinematics!

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO?

✔ Hides the skip hint during dialogues.

✔ Hides the skip hint during in-engine cutscenes (e.g., meeting Rahim).

✔ Hides the skip hint during cinematics (e.g., Crane’s landing in Harran).

🎁 Bonus: This mod hides the autosave icon in the right corner of the screen.

DOES IT REMOVE THE ABILITY TO SKIP?

✅ No! Skip functionality is fully preserved – hints are just invisible.

💡 If you can’t skip a cutscene, that means it's intended to be unskippable (e.g., Crane's awakening).

HOW TO INSTALL?

1️⃣  Download the mod archive and extract it.

2️⃣  Move Data3.pak to your game folder:

📂 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light\DW

HOW TO MERGE WITH OTHER MODS?

If you're using a global mod or a UI-modifying mod, you'll need to merge files manually:

1️⃣  Open both Data3.pak files using 7-Zip.

2️⃣  Compare the files using WinMerge.

3️⃣  Apply the necessary changes to one of the files, if required.

📌 Want the autosave icon back? Simply delete dashboardsavenotification.xui from the archive.

📌 Having issues? Try removing menumissionend.xui and menumissionend_demo.xui.

COMPATIBILITY

✔ Works on all game versions, I guess.

✔ Compatible with mods that don’t modify the same files.

Hopefully Techland will add the ability to disable skip prompts in dialogs and cutscenes via settings in the 10th anniversary patch, and the mod will become obsolete in a few days. At least for the latest version of the game. But until then — enjoy a cleaner UI!
