Gameplay Enhanced

Description

Gameplay Enhanced combines five balanced quality-of-life improvements into a single Data3.pak file. The mod removes tedious limitations (running stamina, weapon breakage, ammo caps) while keeping combat engaging — weapon swings still drain stamina, health regen requires you to escape danger first, and ammo still needs to be scavenged. One file, zero conflicts, drop in and play.

Installation instructions

1. Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Dying Light\DW\

2. Backup your existing Data3.pak (rename to Data3.pak.bak or move it)

3. Copy the Data3.pak from the Gameplay_Enhanced folder into DW\

4. Launch the game — you should see "You are playing modified version" on the main menu

5. To uninstall: delete Data3.pak and restore your backup

Main features

- Unlimited Running Stamina — Sprint indefinitely. Weapon swings still drain combat stamina.

- Full Health Regeneration — Health regenerates to 100% after 10 seconds of not taking damage.

- 5x Weapon Durability — All blunt and cutting weapons last 5x longer before breaking. Repair cycles unchanged.

- 3x Grappling Hook — 3x rope distance, and 3x faster recharge.

- 4x Ammo Carry Capacity.
