Elemental Invulnerability

Since the game's been updated the changes this mod makes no longer works. If you still want

elemental invulnerability, there's still a way....

It's the same file that this mod made changes to:

"data\skills\default_levels.xml"

in the updated "default_levels.xml" search for:

<prop n="ElementalTimeToDeathMaxHealt"

<prop n="ElementalTimeDuration"

and set both to "0. 0"

That's it. Just repack into your data3.pak and you're good to go. Blast damage isn't covered by these changes though.

Personally I use mods like this after I've beaten the game and want to enjoy a different approach to Dying Light. For instance, boosting elemental arrows to kill groups of zombies with one shot, and not having to worry about the splash damage.

I've added new lines to the file default_levels.xml and set the variable to 0. 999 for each of the different elements.

This can easily be changed yourself, or the lines can be added to your already modded file, by searching for JovianStone in this mods default_levels.xml. The lines are at the top of the file and can't be missed ( just right click the file and open with notepad ). Then repack it into your own data3.pak.

Install:

All Game Versions  (including " The Following"):

No other mods installed:

Copy data3.pak to .... Dying Light\ DW \   and overwrite   (make backup of original)

Using other mods as well:

data folder needs to be added to the data3.pak by using the mod Simple Pakker by lyravega found here (or repacked using WinRAR ):

7-zip works too. Right click the Data3.pak and choose "open archive"
