📋 About This Mod
Adds a cinematic slow-walk feature to Dying Light for enhanced stealth and silent movement, also effective while crouching.
This lightweight Python script emulates a virtual PS4 controller at the system driver level. It allows you to slow-walk simply by holding down the C key.
🛠️ Requirements & Installation
You only need to install two things to make this mod work:
Step 1: Install Python
1. Download Python 3 from the official website (python.org).
2. CRITICAL: During installation, make sure to check the box at the bottom that says "Add Python to PATH" before clicking install.
Step 2: Install the Input Libraries
1. Open your Windows Start Menu, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator.
2. Copy and paste the following commands, then press Enter:
pip install keyboard vgamepad
pip install mouse
(Note: Windows might show a quick pop-up asking for permission to install the companion ViGEmBus controller driver. Click Yes to authorize it).
🚀 How to Use It

[]Download the archive from the Files tab and extract the script straight to your Desktop.[/]
[]Open the Dying Light slow walk driver.py file.[/]
[]Keep the black command window open in the background while playing.[/]
[]Launch Dying Light![/]

[]WASD: Move/run in any direction normally (Full analog stick emulation).[/]
[]Hold C + WASD: Walk in any direction for enhanced stealth (also effective while crouching).
(Remap crouch from C to Ctrl or any other key, as C is used for slow walk.) [/
[]To Turn Off: Switch back to the command window and press CTRL + C.[/]
Enable Steam Input
If the mod does nothing in-game:
1. Open your Steam Library.
2. Right-click your game and choose Properties.
3. Go to the Controller tab.
4. Change the dropdown menu next to "Override" to Enable Steam Input.
