The Lost Magic of the Cloud Giants

The ancient and dwindling keep of Ystrid, a powerful Cloud Giant and self styled princess, floats past an island village in the middle of the Shackled Sea. Though the magick to form solid clouds and build upon them their sky-bound fiefs is long lost, remnants of the Cloud Giants glory days survive still. Such a one is this, though little more than a quiet cottage away from the hustle and bustle of the mundane creatures below, marks Ystrid high within the Ordening. Still tended is her garden, the some of the fruit large enough to crush an Orc. Her mews still home to her hunting beasts - Perytons & Hippogriffs. Indeed, she even keeps pets. A converted basement keeps space for three medium sized humanoids and above is her dolls house in which she plays out various games, with little concern to the screams of indignation let out by the adventurers who sought to best her. Her balcony bedroom is open to the stars, and nearby her scrying eye keeps careful watch on the ground below. At any time she may see something that catches her eye, a bauble to be seized as payment to the leigelord or a powerful owlbear to offer some decent sport. .dam Challenge: Magic
