Sinkhole Ruins

Entry for the DAM Challenge - Archeology In the brooding marshes of the Murkmire Morass, an ancient and crumbling ruins of a forgotten civilization sinks deeper into the sucking mud. Old foundations break and a brackish slurry bubbles up through the cracks, flooding the lowest passages and domiciles with smothering silt and clay. Deeper and deeper, the flooded sinkhole swallows this ancient place of worship, featuring many crumbling and overgrown buildings centered around a sunken altar. One day, this place will vanish into the earth. Until then, arm yourself in your most waterproof gear and seek hidden treasures in the slowly sinking temple of the sinkhole ruins.
