The Lava Cave

Brought by some activity involving ancient artifacts scattered throughout the region, the Duergar and Drow do battle to control the area. In between the Duergar camp and the Drow fort, there's a volcanicly active region which neither has managed to secure. An important site of multiple cultures, kingdoms, and cults over the millennia, it is hard to disentangle any single piece's history from the ruins that remain. Part of my #Dungeon23 megadungeon.
