Battle Arena

Come one and all to test your mettle in the battle arena! Fortune favors the bold and there is pleanty of fortune to go around. Survive, and win the prize! Suggestions: -Put something fun in the chests and on the tables. (potions, bombs, etc.) -When a creature enters a portal roll 1d4 to determine where they exit. -Make the pools something nasty -Towers with spiral stairs provide a flat platform +30 ft high that looks over the battle field. Statue rooms have a roof 10ft tall. -The top of the arena is capped at 50ft by a magic field. Creatures cannot leave the arena while the field is active. -Put some NPCs in the stands to cheer, gasp, and boo. -Give a nice reward for surviving the area. Lair Actions: (roll 1d6) 1-2: Braisiers detonate in 25 ft cube dealing 1d8 fire damage to any in range. 3-4: Both crossbow turrets fire a bolt at the nearest creature dealing 1d6 damage. 5-6: Creatures within 20 ft of the central pillars must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC14) or take 2d4 lightning damage and are knocked prone. On success take half damage and do not fall prone.
