So, I thought I’d have a crack at some Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot modding because why not?

I’ve been wanting to get into Kakarot modding for a while, and I finally decided to give it a go. One of my favourite mods is this one simple yet makes a huge difference, created by DoubsOnNexus, but unfortunately, the original mod doesn’t work with the HD/DLC version of the game.

Rather than just giving up on it, I decided to see if I could figure out how to make my own version that works with the newer version of the game. After a fair bit of messing around, experimenting, and plenty of trial and error, I eventually managed to get it working!

So here it is my own version, made specifically for the HD/DLC version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

A massive thank you to DoubsOnNexus for creating the original mod and, of course, for the inspiration, So full credit and huge respect to DoubsOnNexus for the original work, and for making such a cool mod in the first place!

Installation

Simply drag and drop the downloaded

Hud Update_P.pakfile into your Kakarot folder.

~modsYour folder structure should look like this:

AT/Content/Paks/~modsSo, for example:

AT/Content/Paks/~mods/Hud Update_P.pakThat's it! Launch the game and the mod should automatically load.

Important

If you're already using other Kakarot mods, there may be compatibility issues depending on what those mods change. If something doesn't work, try checking whether another mod is affecting the same files that involve the UI.

Hopefully you enjoy it, and maybe this will be the start of me making a few more Kakarot mods in the future.
