'Kakarrot' - Japanese Names Mod

8/12/2026 - Updated mod to properly differentiate between Bakuretsu Maha, one of Piccolo's in-game attacks, and Bakuriki Maha, another attack referenced in cutscenes and encyclopedia entries, both of which were translated as "Explosive Wave" originally, causing me to mistakenly label both as the Bakuriki Maha in previous versions. Thanks to despayeeto593 for pointing this out! Also changed a few other attack names, such as Trunks' "Neo" attacks now using their Japanese "Kai" moniker, and made additional tweaks.

1/15/2026 - Updated mod to make Arc names match JP, fixed several lines throughout game, and made additional tweaks.

1/14/2026 - Updated mod to cover the latest DLC, Daima - Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 2.

10/19/2024 - Updated to differentiate between Turtle Hermit and Muten Roshi usages, added more character specific name uses such as Goku referring to Roshi as old-timer, changed chapter/episode titles to better match the Japanes, and other tweaks.

7/6/2024 - Updated to restore the family Son name in most instances, as well as several other tweaks.

7/5/2024 - Updated mod to cover Super Satan mission update. Also altered names of characters original to DBZ: Kakarot, plus other minor tweaks.

2/21/2024 - Updated mod to cover the latest DLC, Goku's Next Journey, as well as a few other tweaks.

This text mod changes many character and attack names to better reflect the Japanese names and terms. Names/terms used are a mixture of FUNimation's Japanese subtitle track, Viz's English translation of the manga, and occasionally fan translations or my own preference in one or two cases. Not all names are changed just because there is a different translation available, i.e. Androids are still Androids, and the Ginyu Force is still the Ginyu Force.

I have not done a full playthrough of the game with the mod yet, so please comment with any mistakes you notice and I will fix them in the next update.
