Alternate Names Mod

Originally I intended this to just be for personal use thinking that most people might not want these changes but I doesn't cost me anything to share and maybe I'll be surprised to find people using it.

The mod simply changes the names of the Following: Kid Buu, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan

It doesn't change any stats or levels or anything, literally just the text that you'll see in the skill tree, skill palette and the limitbreak stuff for the dlc and it's just for people who have the game on "English"

UPDATE: (07/21/2024)

I have updated the mod to be compatible with 2. 1. 1

I have made additional fixes, being, changing Gohan (Grandpa) to how he's commonly referred to as "Grandpa Gohan". This also applies to "Gohan's House" so it's not confused with Gohan's (Goku's son) House in the EoZ DLC, it is now "Grandpa Gohan's House".

I have also changed Super Saiyan 2's reworked name from Ultra Super Saiyan as that didn't quite feel right. Details below.

As requested I have also created a "LITE" version of the mod that only includes the summary fixes, Encyclopedia fixes (Character Formal names i.e Son Goku) and the name changes for the god forms, leaving super saiyan forms 1, 2, and 3 as in vanilla.

(2. 1. 12 Update) - I changed Gohan's "Power Unleashed" form to "Ultimate" as that is the forms official name and is referred to as Ultimate in a skill description

(small update) - I have created files compatible with "Limitless V4" and "Limitless Xeno" created by the talented TheReckon5 and his mod team. Details below.

For Base game play, use the Lite or regular Alternate names mod, for Post game Limitless/Limitless Xeno Gameplay use the file corresponding to the type of Limitless you are playing with.

This mod is just for the main game experience.

the initial inspiration was to fix the ridiculous and nonsensical names of the god forms, with the others popping up as an after thought.

1.)

Super Saiyan God is now "Divine Saiyan"

Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is now "Divine Super Saiyan"

Inspiration/reason for my names:

Changed for a few reasons, firstly the description of the forms, if SSGSS is a SSG using the power of a SUPER SAIYAN that means SUPER SAIYAN GOD IS NOT A SUPER SAIYAN form, it's merely a saiyan utilizing Godly ki as it's description confirms hence why the appearance of the users hair doesn't change besides its color. I like to think of the Divine Saiyan form like Kaioken, it's not so much a form in itself but more just a shift in Ki type resulting in a boost in strength (A saiyan switching from regular ki to utilizing Godly Ki).

The "Super Saiyan God" being more of a title a person had than the forms name, like how "Legendary Super Saiyan" was the title of the first saiyan to use the form from the legend.

"Divine Saiyan" is basically just a saiyan that has Godly ki, that is their base state.

I would then refer to a saiyan in the state as Divine (Name) such a Divine Goku/Vegeta for short hand.

SSGSS was changed because , the name is ridiculously long and frankly sounds very dumb (Super Saiyan Blue isn't much better, we don't call super saiyan "Super Saiyan Yellow") and I'm pretty sure Toriyama just called it that because he couldn't think of anything (Or he just didn't care/thought it was funny). SSGSS is a "Super Saiyan God using the power of a super saiyan"  following the logic of my previous naming scheme the obvious answer is

"Divine Super Saiyan"

It's short, it's simple and it conveys what the form is, a Super Saiyan that is using Divine energy. Much easier to say and write than Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, and not silly like the "Just name it after it's color" deal they had during Super. Not to mention it explains why visually it's literally just Super Saiyan but Blue.

2.)

Kid Buu has been changed to "Majin Buu (Origin)"

I never hated the name "Kid Buu" it just didn't really make sense to me, if any of the forms is like a child its the (Innocent) form. Considering this is Majin Buu's ORIGINAL form that should be the name he has, I like to think of it like Girantina (Origin forme) from Pokemon, just a small change I personally like. Not to mention I don't think there's a single time they refer to this form as "Kid Buu" in the anime.

Super Saiyan 2 has been changed to "Ascendant Super Saiyan"
