📋 About This Mod
VERSION 2. 0 UPDATE
This mod has been rebuilt to use bundle edits and duplicated textures. Some improvements have also been made to the alpha edits, some of the masc versions of Nevarran Citizen's Outfit no longer have gaps at the hips and I've updated the design for Nevarran Insulated Suit to make it a little more coherent (the way the belt didn't connect to anything bothered me so much!). Everything now has custom inventory icons too.
These new versions no longer need a swap library, nor do they affect anyone except Rook, though they mostly didn't anyway. The coat is, however, still affected by recolours to Death's Disciple.
A collection of Mourn Watch themed outfit mash-ups and alpha edits, wrapped up in a bad pun.

[]Nevarran Citizen's Coat - Mash-up of Minrathous Citizen's Outift, the coat from Death's Disciple and Myrna's grave gold.[/]
[]Nevarran Leathers - Mash-up of Dextrous Leathers, the coat from Death's Disciple and Myrna's grave gold.[/]
[]Nevarran Insulated Suit - Mash-up of Insulated Suit, Footsoldier's Armaments, and the scarf from Lucanis's Gall. The version with the scarf requires the deluxe edition DLC. There is also a version without the scarf which works with the base game. [/]
[]Nevarran Citizen's Outfit - Mash-up of Minrathous Citizen's Outift and Myrna's grave gold. There are several variants which edit the alphas to remove various bits- v2: Removes the shoulder pads, v3: Removes the shoulder pads and skirt, v4: Removes the shoulder pads, skirt and collar. These are all now standalone mods which do not require a "main" file. [/]
No swap library required.
Recolours for Death's Disciple will affect the coat, but nothing else.
Not compatible with mods which change the base outfits or their textures.
Known Issues:
-
[]If you are experiencing a graphical glitch, try changing the upsampling method in your display settings. It seems to be set to AMD as default, which will not work for everyone. Try the Intel setting, or turning it off entirely. Turning it off may affect your games performance, so try the other setting first![/]
[]On Nevarran Citizen's Outfit v. 2-4 you can still see where the underarm straps used to be. I have used texture and normal edits to minimize the appearance but it is still fairly visible. Unfortunately removing the strap entirely would leave a hole.[/]
[]The shadows are a mess, they have big holes in because of the alpha editing. Fixing it is so much more work than I want to do updating these and I may be the only one who is bothered anyway.[/]
Install with the 2026. 08. 21. 0 or later release of J-Lyt's Frosty Mod Manager. If you need help setting that up, consult this tutorial.
I am only slightly sorry for the title of this mod.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Small but dedicated following (27 endorsements, 710 downloads) — the Mourn Watch fans are out there.
- Straightforward cosmetic mod — no gameplay changes to worry about.
- Recent update (January 2025) means it's likely compatible with current game version.
⚠️ Cons
- Description is bare-bones — no screenshots or detailed breakdown of what's included.
- Niche appeal — if you're not into Mourn Watch fashion, this mod won't do much for you.
For Dragon Age: The Veilguard players who want to dress their Mourn Watch characters with unique mash-ups and alpha edits. If you're a fashion-focused player looking for more Mourn Watch flair, this is for you. Skip if you want gameplay changes or broader armor variety.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since the mod is cosmetic, make sure you're not using any other mods that alter the same armor meshes to avoid conflicts.
- Check the mod's files after download to see if there's a readme or folder structure that hints at installation — the description doesn't cover it.
- If you're using a mod manager, try importing the mod there first; if not, manual placement into the game's data folder usually works for cosmetic mods.
