Big helpful Tips if you lag or crash alot in your game.  If you use an Nvidia graphics card might sure to use graphic drivers 560. 94.  They are more stable for me in this game compared to newer graphics drivers. Many people on forums have stated this opinion as well.

To fix any crashes from Nvidia Driver errors.  1st step is to download Nvidia Graphics Driver 560. 94 game ready drivers. I was on 566. 14 drivers and it crashed the 2nd day of gaming consistently. Do NOT install it yet, that will come later on. 2nd step, you will need to uninstall your current version of Nvidia Graphics drivers. Ashampoo Uninstaller is a free program, Iobit uninstaller or DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller).  After the drivers are uninstalled restart your pc.  Now install the Nvidia 560. 94 graphics drivers.  If you use MSI Afterburner for your graphics card make sure to click on the icon on the task bar that says RivaTuner. Near the top right corner you will see application detection level change this to low, then underneath it change stealth mode to ON.  3rd step delete any shadercache folder inside the Dragon Age Veilguard directory. 4th step launch the game then go to graphics settings I turned OFF Bloom, Vignette , Motion Blur and  Ultra Ray Tracing.  Ray Traced Reflections set to OFF.  For some people setting the Hair Strands to OFF is the biggest one that can cause big lag or crashes.  I left it on for my pc but everyones setup is different.   If you use Steam turn off the overlay.  EA has an option to turn off their overlay as well.  Some games the overlay causes crashes.  It should be under settings or options.   Last optional step is to turn down your overclock on your graphics card if its overclocked.  Some games are picky about overclocks.  I know on battlefield 2042 I had to drop my overclock by around 75mhz to 100mhz to keep the game stable.
