Less Paraphrasing (and other optional add-ons)

TL;DR

This mod edits almost 1000 (as of v1. 2) individual strings of dialogue that show up on the dialogue wheel, and changes the lines to be less paraphrased.

So for example, instead of, “Won’t help,” you will see, “I’ve had a couple of days, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.”

WIP. Only includes Act 1 and some companion stuff right now.

Has not been extensively tested!! I might've made mistakes.

This mod isn’t perfect. Given that I’m manually editing each line, mistakes may happen, or my edits might not quite be your taste. Though I’ve tried my best to keep the edits as close to the vanilla spoken line as possible, in cases where it wasn’t possible, my interpretations may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I started making this mod for myself, but since I was digging through strings anyway, I decided to do all factions/races/etc and release this as a mod in case anyone else might find it useful.

I'm currently playing as a female, elf, Mourn Watcher, mage, likely romancing Emmrich. If your Rook is a different race, class, or faction, you might encounter lines I haven’t seen yet, or typos I haven’t tested. I've edited dialogue for all background options, but since I can’t test them all, please report any problems you find, such as typos, missing lines or approval indicators (if using that file), along with applicable details (i.e., faction, quest, and the actual line itself so I can find it), and I'll fix them ASAP for the next release.

This is a work in progress. I've completed all of Act 1 but have yet to start on Act 2, aside from the post-Weisshaupt conversations with Varric, Solas, and companions. I'm editing dialogue while playing, so please be patient with me. I am releasing weekly updates with more and more dialogue as I work on it.

Please note that there are some lines in the dialogue wheel I cannot edit, as they link to various spoken lines or contain identical options. In such cases, I did my best to determine which dialogue wheel option corresponded to which spoken line, but if I couldn’t (or if there was only one for various spoken lines, such as for different factions), then I left them as is.

Side note: I realised after that I only tested this with the game's "small" text size, so if you use the larger sizes, things might get cut off?
